During shedding season, you see it everywhere: on the couch, on your clothes, in corners of the room. And for dogs or cats with a double coat, there's a thick layer of undercoat beneath the topcoat that a regular brush can't get out.
This rake has curved metal teeth that glide through the hair and remove the loose undercoat. One side has closely spaced teeth that pick up loose hairs. The other side is wider and is designed to loosen beginning mats.
The teeth are rounded at the ends, so you don't scratch the skin. The handle has a rubber grip, so it won't slip out of your hand if your dog is wet after a walk in the rain.
Works for both dogs and cats, and for long and short coats.

How does it work?
Start with the wide-toothed side and work layer by layer through the coat. Then switch to the fine-toothed side for loose hairs. Always work with the direction of hair growth and use short strokes. If you encounter a tangle, loosen it from the outside rather than pulling through it.

M'n kat verhaarde constant, ik kon 'm niet aaien zonder haar op me. Dit haalde alle losse haar eruit en z'n vacht is nu zacht. Hij spint de hele tijd tijdens het kammen.
Haalt de ondervacht er geweldig uit! We hebben een Duitse herder die enorm verhaarde. Handvat ligt lekker, twee standen, en hij verhaart nu veel minder.
Eerst op m'n labrador, ging goed. Toen op de hond van m'n nichtje: binnen een minuut een enorme haarbal! Zo makkelijk en hij voelde zich meteen beter.
Het fijnste trim-gereedschap ooit. Onze corgi heeft een superdikke dubbele vacht; een uur geborsteld en er kwam letterlijk een tweede hond aan haar af. Doet geen pijn.
Ik heb 5 katten, 3 krijgen klitten. Dit haalt er zoveel haar af, echt bizar. Ook top op de bank, bergen haar eraf.
Stevig gebouwd, solide tanden, pakt de ondervacht goed. Twee maten: breed voor de start, smal voor de rest. Zeker zo goed als de duurdere uit de winkel.
Enige spijt is dat ik 'm niet eerder kocht. M'n husky moet zich ellendig gevoeld hebben met zoveel ondervacht. Makkelijk schoon te maken en fijne grip.
Deze borstel is een game changer. M'n kat haat borstelen maar dit tolereert hij, en de hoeveelheid ondervacht die eruit komt is verbazend.
